ANNOUNCEMENT
ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE APPROXIMATE UNIT COSTS OF THE CONSTRUCTIONS IN 2008 TO BE USED IN THE CALCULATION OF THE ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURAL SERVICE COSTS
In accordance with the article 3.2. of the Specifications of Engineering and Architectural Services” which entered into force with the Council of ministers decision 85/9707 of 16/7/1985 the approximate construction unit prices for 2009 that will be used in the calculation of the engineering and architectural service costs are shown below by taking into account the class of th construction which is essential for architectural services and by fixing the general construction expenditures and the contractors’s profit.

Instructions:
1-)The similar structures shall be identified by benefiting from the concerned provisions of the Specifications of Engineering and Architecture by the concerned institutions in comparison with the structures in the groups in question.
2-)For the structures of which the class or rank has been changed or taken out of the announcement, in the Works of which the structure class and group was fixed and launched in line with the announcements prior to 2008, calculation shall be done by taking into account the equivalent cost in 2008 announcement without changing their structure class and group.
3-)In case there is any hesitation in fixing the class and groups in the announcement at the constrcution stage , the approximate cost of that structure shall be calculated by applying the prices of the Ministry of Public Works and Settlement to the quantities to be prepared according to the Project of the structure.
1-)The similar structures shall be identified by benefiting from the concerned provisions of the Specifications of Engineering and Architecture by the concerned institutions in comparison with the structures in the groups in question.
2-)For the structures of which the class or rank has been changed or taken out of the announcement, in the Works of which the structure class and group was fixed and launched in line with the announcements prior to 2008, calculation shall be done by taking into account the equivalent cost in 2008 announcement without changing their structure class and group.
3-)In case there is any hesitation in fixing the class and groups in the announcement at the constrcution stage , the approximate cost of that structure shall be calculated by applying the prices of the Ministry of Public Works and Settlement to the quantities to be prepared according to the Project of the structure.
